There is absolutely no threshold of required ability. Our teams include athletes with profound disabilities, some are medically fragile, some chronically ill and some terminally ill. All coaches are certified by National Alliance of Youth Sports. The NMML wrote the certification program that is now a national standard for adapted sports. More than 50% of coaches are Special E. Professionals, and several are Police, Fire and EMT volunteers. These people are what make it possible for the Miracle League to accommodate even the most profoundly disabled athlete.
