PROGRAMS
To better serve children and youth with disabilities we recognized one single approach would not be practical. Every child uploads and processes the world around them in in their own unique way. However, when your demographic involves individuals with disabilities, the variations in the way they process are dramatically greater.
To address this reality we offer 8 different approaches (programs) with the occasional add on of some special event or opportunity. And, internally, each of our programs is multi-faceted. The best analogy would be “Surround Sound”, approach from different perspectives and hopefully a note will resonate, and with time, the note becomes a chord and if we persevere, the chord becomes music. And once we “are in” the real work begins.
And, as each will respond in their own way, each individual will progress at their own pace, so by necessity, Miracle League commitment to each child is long term. What we do is not a timed event. It is not a race to some imaginary finish line. It is our mission, our imperative to the children and their families.
