Disability Community Area Census

For our service area, there are few, if any, programs for children, youth, and young adults with disabilities that drill as deep into the population as the Miracle League.

Most other programs that serve the disability community have a threshold of required ability (High Functioning / Mobile / Self-Feeding / Self-Toileting). Our population includes some of the communities most profoundly impacted children including medically fragile, chronically ill, and even terminally ill.

We are a stand-alone opportunity for many families, and are honored that they entrust us with their children. Here are the current stats for Special Needs children and Youth in our service area. The statistics are just for North Fulton County School System. It does not reflect the special needs population in private schools and academies, nor does it address the adult Special Needs population.
